The Healthy Solutions® Diet

The Healthy Solutions® Diet is our most popular program, by far. This program offers the most structure, and because of that, it is the easiest way to guarantee that you lose weight, week after week!

Is this program right for me?

This program is perfect…

…for individuals who want high structure. “Give me the rules. Tell me exactly what I need to do. I don’t want to think.” “If you give me too much freedom to start, I know I will cheat.”

…for individuals who have a lot of weight to lose. “I’ve got 25+ pounds I need to lose, and I don’t want to run out of motivation before I hit my goal.”

…for individuals who want the fastest possible weight loss. “I’ve got a wedding coming up.” “I need to lose this weight before I can go in for surgery.” “I’m just fed up with the weight.”

…for individuals who want something easy to prepare. “I don’t like to cook.” “I don’t have time in my busy schedule to plan complicated meals.”

If this option isn’t the best fit for you, consider the A la Carte option.

What do I eat?

This diet includes fruits, vegetables, the HMR meal replacements, and select condiments thrown in for variety. Everything else is off limits for now, but it will come back once you get closer to your goals! By doing this, you don’t have to do extensive calorie counting or portion control, and food preparation is as easy as possible. Every entree, for example, takes only a minute to prepare! 

A typical day might look something like this:

Breakfast – The HMR Multigrain Cereal with added blueberries, and a cup of coffee

Snack – An apple (or 2), sliced with a bit of cinnamon

Lunch – The HMR Turkey Chili with Beans entree, poured over a baked potato

Snack – A Vanilla shake, blended with diet root beer, like an ice cream float

Dinner – The HMR Vegetable Stew with Beef, with extra green beans and a side salad

Snack – An HMR Chocolate 70 plus pudding, drizzled over fresh strawberries

More is Better™

Within the diet, you can eat as much as you want. If you’re hungry, have an extra shake. If you need something crunchy while you watch tv, bring in some more cucumbers to munch on. If everyone else is having donuts in the office, you’ve got an HMR Double Chocolate Chip Benefit Bar.

You never have to rely on willpower, you never have to go hungry, and you never have to watch other people eat while you restrict yourself. This is not a deprivation diet! It’s not about cutting back, it’s about making better choices and finding ways to enjoy them!

Weight loss

Because this program has the most structure, participants often see the best results with this option.

Each HMR Program has different average weight-loss results. These are the results we get for people who completed between 12-26 weeks: 43-66 lbs. for the in-clinic Decision Free® plan (1), and 28-37.5 lbs. for the in-clinic Healthy Solutions® plan (2). Average weight loss for the Healthy Solutions® at Home program with phone coaching is 23 lbs. at 12 weeks and 28 lbs. at 26 weeks (3). There is no guarantee of specific results. Results can vary.
